30ml Cognac, 30ml Sloe Gin, 30ml Red Vermouth, Lemon twist

The daughter gave me a small bottle of "Aged Hawthorn Gin" which does taste vaguely like Sloe Gin. Works well in this.

I gave up trying to make Sloe Gin a few years ago. Never really turned out how I wanted. The recipe we used was equal weights of sloes (Bullace) and gin. Left for a month or two, filtered and then add sugar syrup to taste. Typically about 6:1 spirit to dbl syrup.
