Android 13->14 update hasn't fixed the Kindle reader camera cutout, lost bottom line problem. It's still only losing the footer with the page number in it, not the text. It's just not fixed.

Blackplayer EX beta 20.63 - 411does seem like a work in progress, but at least the developer is actually working on it. The long awaited new beta was released on 31-Oct-24 but def has problems.

One of those personal IT support days.

1) Android reboot, SD Card says "tap to fix". Remove and then use windows to scan the card, eject, replace in phone. SD Card now reads ok. 3 times.

2) Android update to 14. Reboot. Immediately followed by a security update. Reboot. Go back to 1). Repeat.

3) Long awaited beta update to fav music player with issues. Somewhere along the line that broke it's internal library. SD Card now has a new ID. Rescan 60k tracks and remake playlists. Ongoing.

On that basis, Corporate Capitalism will eventually eat itself and when it fails it will take everything else with it.

This has happened repeatedly through relatively recent history with the 1929 crash being a typical example.

Systemic failures like this tend to be followed by political action that resets the system and introduces regulation to try and prevent it happening again, until Capitalism again grows too large, gains too much control and the cycle repeats.
