Because reducing carbon emissions by burning wood pellets from North America is government and customer subsidised bullshit. As is carbon capture and storage.

Android 14, 1Tb MicroSD card, exFAT.

Every once in a while on an android boot, it thinks the SD card is corrupt and offers to re-initialise it. (reformat). Remove card, use a windows laptop to error check it, no errors found. Put it back in the Android phone and it reads it fine.

There's no Android equivalent to chkdsk. There's no obvious problem.

Storage manager, SD Card, eject-unmount, mount is as bad as root. It's like Android isn't properly closing everything before ejecting/rebooting.

There was a SciFi movement a few years ago to commission deliberately hopeful fiction and short stories. Stephenson and Doctorow contributed. It didn't work for me. A bit too much hopium, moon-mining, machines of loving grace.

13 years since I gave up smoking and nicotine.

The only thing that worked for me was cold turkey after a medical scare. Took a week, month, year before I got over it.

The scare was a blocked artery near one knee. Fixed with a balloon. Didn't need a stent. Still fine all these years later.
