What's up with Suzuki in WSB? Alex Lowes is clearly frustrated and DePuniet seems to have lost the plot completely. They've swapped out the entire electronics 2 races into the season.
At what stage does Paul Denning get fired? Because ultimately team problems are his responsibility.
They are using the stock 2016 Mitsubishi electronics (which are rubbish) & also the 6 year old Gixer is total garbage too.
They really are fighting a massive uphill battle. They will at least they will have 12 months advance on racing the new electrics rather then just testing them.
A little support (real support) from Japan would not hurt either. Voltcom Cresent is practically a private squid, albeit, well funded but ill supported.
Fingers crossed they get back to winning ways soon.
Because factory support has been lacking and it would appear not to be changing in the near future.
Suzuki seem to have thrown all their eggs into the moto GP basket, I hope they have thought it all through and there is a long term plan to get back on terms with their road bikes and race market, after all that is how they make money, by selling good road bikes that people want to buy.
That team is a (my memory let's me down......) 8x EWC Champion's. Also, they only won because of the misfortunes of Honda Racing & SRC Kawasaki.
That said, as the old saying goes : To finish 1st.......
+Keith Williams Yes mate, Tas pulled out stating a lack of support from Suzuki Japan, only getting "mild" support from Suzuki UK (who don't have an R&D department, so can only assume it was a financial support).
“We will use our current electronics system in the first two rounds of 2014, only for the reason that the new system will not be ready to implement at the first two rounds,” said Team Principal Paul Denning. “I think our first (Marelli) ECU only arrived at the end of December. We will be ready with it for the third round, but it is just not possible to implement for the first two races.”
