Please improve search in Google Plus.
- Date ranges
- Advanced search tools as for normal search
- Make the "Most Recent" switch part of the search URL so I can bookmark it.
- Remember that I always switch from "Best Of" to "Most Recent" so I don't have to do the extra click every time.

Google is a Search company isn't it? So why is search in Google Plus pretty poor.

Yes! Everything to do with this. I hate how search is touted as the selling feature, however, I cannot ever find anything I'm looking for. Does search even work in comments? :(

most recent vs best of is still there in G+ search. For me anyway. My gripe was that I can't change the default and the setting isn't part of the url.

Since the latest change (What's Hot/Explore), most recent vs best is only available when searching without a hashtag. With a hashtag this is not available and the search results are truncated. Very annoying...
