Another revolution happening on Europe's doorstep
Of course there's some history here for Brits with Cyprus. And it raises all the issues around Turkey's possible involvement in Europe, the EU and the Eurozone.

The way the news cycles work these days, it's tempting to think that Tunisia, Libya, Egypt are done and dusted and now we're on to Syria, Yemen and so on. In reality all three revolutions are anything but finished and each has a whole load of issues to work through in 3 very different styles because the 3 sets of issues are so different. I think we're now seeing that Egypt is going to have a continual revolution for some time to come as power shakes itself out. The army is too strong (and too well supplied by the West) to let go gracefully.
