Just spent a very pleasant morning and lunch at the Clinton Baker Pinetum outside Hertford in the company of the Friends of the Pinetum, Hertford University and The Worshipful Company of Carpenters.

The Pinetum is 10 acres of arboretum dating back to the 18th century and mainly devoted to Cedars, Larches and Pines although there are some fine specimen Oaks and other tree varieties as well. We've been helping out there on occasional Saturdays for the last year or so. The lunch was a thank you from the University and Carpenters and a chance for them to meet the volunteers.
