We only buy a paper on one day of the week. It always used to be the The Times on Sat. Murdoch has finally become too much so even this small support of him has to go. However, reading the Grauniad instead is bewildering. Where's Giles Coren, Matthew Parris and Robert Crampton gone? How will I do without the tales of Slummy Mummy and Caitlin Moran?

I wonder what effect the phone hacking and NOTW scandal will have on Murdoch's experiments with internet paywalls?

I really like the "I" newspaper - only buy it about once a week at the moment but its the only newspaper I have the inclination to read - the web has taken over my news intake (used to read a whole raft of papers back in the 80's)

We still get The Sunday Times, but that's about it for weekend papers. Weekday papers no more also. Used to be The Telegraph. Sunday Times is still the best imho - any alternatives in your eyes?

We've pretty much stopped reading papers at all, long before the red top scandal.
