Take one iPod Touch.
1) Won't charge or appear when connected to a USB Hub.
2) Won't charge or appear when connected to an eeePC USB port
3) Getting iTunes to start correctly on the eeePC (win XP) required finding and registering 10 DLLs. This after downloading iTunes 96Mb. Waiting for ages for it to install. But it still won't recognise the Touch.
4) Can't be synced with Winamp
And yet. The iPod classic has no trouble with any of this.
Now we find out that the iPad only charges and syncs from some USB ports on some laptops.
Really, really tired of this stuff.
