Placetrack finally gets approved for the iTunes app store. It's a background updater for Google Latitude. itms://itunes.apple.com/us/app/placetrack/id371178753?mt=8 http://www.tranquilli.org/2010/06/11/placetrack-a-first-background-google-latitude-updater-for-iphone/ Apple took from June 11 to Sept 12 to approve this and it seems it's the new (or at least re-stated) developer guidelines which finally allowed the reviewers to approve it. In all that time, the developer got almost no feedback from Apple as to why it was stuck in review and had ended up putting it on Cydia for Jailbroken devices as it looked like it would never get out there officially. Great that it has actually appeared, but just another example of the Appstore review process being broken, sucky and just plain wrong.
