Never mind iPhones and iPads, let's talk iPod Classic. Is there any option for upgrading the iPod Classic 160Gb to 240Gb? This is the first fat one with the dual platter disk. Has anyone done this?

There's a way to initialise an iPod via iTunes that formats the hard disk from scratch. The boot OS is held in flash rom. 26 Jul 2010 26 Jul 2010

Here's the catch. The iPod Classic 160 uses a ZIF CE-ATA connector. AFAIK, nobody makes a 1.8" hard drive with this interface bigger than 160Gb. 26 Jul 2010 26 Jul 2010
