1956 Chevy Station Wagon
bought it from my dad for $25 in 1970
Was the Family car - Dad bought it brand new in 1956!
Didn't have reverse, constantly needed oil and trans fluid
Muffler wasn't connected so I re-connected it with a beer can, you should have seen the officer's face who gave me a fixit ticket.
Died a slow death after I gave it to my sister
1952 Chevy Coupe
Great car! - one of my favs
Bright Orange after I polished it up
Used to call it The Taco Car
Bought in 1970 for $125
6 cylinder, you could climb in the hood and still have room to work on the engine
back seat was loose, great for friends to slide around in
Used to push it on cold mornings to get it started when the battery was run down
Died on a trip to Malibu, threw a rod..., major bummer, but I got picked up by two righteous foxes, best ride home I ever had...
67 Ford Mustang - $800
Bought in my senior year, 1971-1972
A very hot, fast car
Bored the 289 to a 302
Chome-molly 12.5:1 pistons, bullet proof clutch, Isky Cam, Hurst shift, four-barrel toilet flusher for a carb, heads re-worked, headers
Ticket Magnet, though I never got one, which is somewhat of a miracle
Magnet for beautiful women who were trouble
69 Ford Mustang
A real beauty
Bought this one for my sister in 1972 for $600!
Mint condition, one owner, drove it to the market only on Tuesdays
Found out the owner filled it with STP all the time
Got very mucky and dirty cleaning out the heads during a very cold winter
1974 MG Midget - Ragtop
Bought in 1974 for $3900, brand new off the showroom floor
Needless to say, one of my favorite cars
Very fun to drive
Bought myself an English cap to have the look
1979 Volkswagen Scirroco
Bought it brand new for $6700(?)
Remember those
Nimble and fast
Another fun car to drive
Do we see a pattern here?
1981 Ford Festiva
This was my 'economy' car. I was rear-ended in this car, and spent over 8 weeks getting my body back in shape
1987 Toyota Camry
1996 Mazda 606
1997 4-door Lincoln
