Strictly LoFi House is not dead. It's just not pretty enough to be an actress.

Here's a relaxing hour long mix.

I love this stuff. I wish there was more of it. And it wasn't stuck in 2016.

Pretty much everything about bicycles is like this. Design led by Marketing MBAs, implemented by engineers who think you can push things with string. Into ever smaller market niches. To be bought by cosplay wannabes with more money than sense. And then stolen by thieving, feral low-lifes.

I just want a Utility Vehicle to do all the shopping, get some exercise, ride when I'm drunk and see the countryside. Too much to ask?

For Bicycle fans, Shimano, I hate you! For years the range got more and more complex. But at least you could buy spares and updates for the low end Acera, Altus and Tourney ranges. Now they've "rationalised" it into CUES. So at least you can swap MTB-Road mechs & levers. I want a 48t sprocket with a chain guard and everything is. 40t, 46t or 50t. And all the mount holes are asymmetric, Shimano specific and different so nothing generic fits.

GAH!

When it rains (hah!), Thames Water also pollute the waterways that we and Affinity rely on with sewage overflow from all their sewage treatment works.

Affinity and Thames are statutory consultees to all major developments. Their comments are always the same boiler plate. Follow the rules, talk to us about excess, and service supply will be fine. A promise to the future that will inevitably come due.

A thought in progress. Here in Hertfordshire our water is provided by Affinity and bills go to them. Runoff and foul water is taken away by Thames Water. All the development means Affinity are over-extracting from the rivers, aquifers and water table.

But Thames Water also extract water for London from the Lea catchment. Why should London take our water? Apart from "because they can and have done for centuries".

Every time I went to Glasto, I went by motorcycle. It was the only way to get through the solid traffic that stretched from Glasto to Basingstoke. Avoid driving anywhere within 100 miles of Shepton Mallet today.

- Quaker

25ml Rye, 25ml Cognac, 25ml Lemon, 25ml Raspberry Syrup, lemon twist.

I'm still struggling to find a good Raspberry syrup. Asda do a raspberry liqueur 17%. It's a good taste but not sweet at all. So this recipe needs a little dbl syrup as well.

Why does privatisation of essential pubic infrastructure and natural monopolies lead to a worse service that costs more for both government and customers.

Possibly missing are the initial discount, asset sell-off, consolidation and leveraged buyout, rescue package stages.

With particular relevance to the UK.

So quiet in the wood last night. Except for me. So heavy this morning. 82% humidity. I'm sure I only had one more beer but it feels like I had a case!

In solidarity with all the people who saw the sun rise from the stone circle at Glasto.
