The UK and EU politicians are currently acting as if NATO is the overriding security apparatus. And so the USA has to provide a security backstop and dominate discussions. Or it's the UN. But that is also corrupted and dominated by the security council.

Can Europe, EU+UK go it alone and face off against Russia AND USA (and China, and India)?

This is very naive politics. But it occurred to me that the Great Powers and most of the nations of the world are run as single leader dictatorships. There may be a facade of democracy but only a facade. US, Russia, China, India and so on.

But there's one exception. EU is just as big. But it's an Autonomous Collective run by mutual consent and a rules based order. It now faces an existential question. Can it collectively behave like a dictatorship and face off against the others?

Reform UK Ltd has enough money to start throwing out lots of leaflets for the 1-May County Council elections.

But it's hard to know where to start. County Council don't handle parking charges except indirectly via approval if they're on the road. Smacks of 15 minute cities, "war on vehicles", Anti-ULEZ wedge issues. County is not exactly local which is why Labour want to get rid of them.
