A message to all the Reform UK Ltd Trolls and Sealions. Now the elections are over you can stop with the lies and misinformation. No, you won't have to live locked into a 15 minute city paying per mile road pricing on 20mph roads. No, the local Premier Inn isn't going to be filled with illegal immigrants given money, food a job/benefits and be prioritised for affordable housing on the new development instead of local people. No, it wasn't Labour or Greens that came up with the new bin scheme.

Norovirus should be on the UKHSA dashboard. https://ukhsa-dashboard.data.gov.uk It's a key bit of Public Health. So it's a bit weird that just when cases have started rising dramatically, UKHSA stopped reporting on it around 1-Apr. Treating it as a "seasonal virus". https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/national-norovirus-and-rotavirus-surveillance-reports-2024-to-2025-season It's also a very effective weight loss programme.

I'm interested in a funding and finances overview of two bits of England life. GP Surgeries and Academy schools. And by implication GP Surgery groups and Multi-Academy Trusts. Does anyone now of a one page Management/Executive summary & explanation of either area? As I understand it these are private partnerships or companies. They are funded by a per customer/patient/pupil and per function precept from central government. There are regs over pay scales set by central government. Ok so far?

A little perspective. Only 23 County Councils with elections on 1-May. No district, city boroughs, and so on. No Counties on the fast track to devolution that cancelled the elections. Those 23 are going to manage the transition to Unitaries with 677 Reform cllrs disrupting the process. Total councillors in Mid and Top tier.
