An Overview
of the Range
It’s impossible to design a
single motorcycle and find a compromise that suits all possibilities So I’m forced
to offer three. Looking at my own motorcycling it falls in three camps. Riding to
work and business meetings through the outskirts of London and surrounding countryside.
Weekend blasts to race meetings. Occasional trips abroad. Each of these machines
should be able to perform all three tasks but be biased towards one of them. I lean
heavily towards building FFs by cutting and shutting standard bikes so I've given
suggested donors. Target costs are for a true volume production run.

The Commuter and Grand Tourer
actually end up being remarkably similar, having excellent weather protection, heated
grips and seat and so on. The difference should be that the Commuter is agile and
narrow. It’s designed primarily for getting through traffic. The Sports Machine
is perhaps the hardest. Lots of CF, milled and extruded aluminium, state of the
art suspension, heads up revcounter, ECM, Stealth measures.etc. etc.
There may also be room for two
others. A 50/125cc ultra lightweight and a 1000cc Cruise Missile, ultra heavyweight.
