World Launch of the
all-new Super Turbo Ecomobile at Beaulieu
Arnold Wagner will be launching a new 140Kw (186 hp eeeeek!) Eco at
`Motorcycle World` on July 22nd & 23rd and has confirmed he will be
bringing three machines over, including the all-new Super-Turbo and the
single-seat Turbo-Mono.
For the first time a Press Day is scheduled away
from the public days on Friday the 21st July and if any of you would like
to attend on that day, please apply to me off-group.
Mark Crowson has agreed to bring the Quasar and should be riding it in the
demonstration arena. Other `roofies` in the Show include the Honda Gyro
Canopy, the C1, The Benelli Adiva (again, the first time it will have been
seen in motion in the UK) and the `Bubble`.... a few Messerschmitt
micro-cars have also been booked to appear.
Mainstream press and TV are coming, with a select few from the bike press
(we don't want or need grubby little oiks cluttering up the place) and we
also have the opportunity to put the case for FFs to the All Parliamentary
Motorcycle Group, who will also be `partying down` for the weekend.
So at long last this is it, and now you know what I've been working on for
the last 12 months or more. This is where FFs crossover into the
mainstream and stop being regarded as a humorous blind-alley of
development, worthy only of chortles of derision by the motorcycle
community. The new Eco will, quite simply, end the horsepower and top speed
race among the motorcycle manufacturers once and for all. I predict 220mph
plus, something a Hayabusa or ZX12R could only dream about, yet in a degree
of comfort, safety and economy that crushes every existing motorcycle flat.
This we all already know, but the World doesn't...
Presented in a professional and cohesive manner to those who are in a
position to influence purchasers in the future - i.e. a whole NEW market -
linked and associated with more `cost-effective` products that offer many
of the advantages of the FF layout in a price range that most can afford. I
give you the FF/scooter market, and I make no apologies for calling it
that.
My company is putting its money where my mouth is and Motion Promotion is
producing the entire `Roofie` segment and assisting with publicity and
promotion of the entirre Beaulieu show. If you always thought that
`marketing` was something that involved fruit'n'veg and a stall, you are
about to be surprised. OK, It ain't perfect, but it is a bloody good start
and the end of the `garden shed` phase of FF development.
The BFF now needs to become more professional in their presentation so that
they can take their place at table with the legislators as force for
change.
